Come to UniBar on Tuesday and try your luck at winning the Joker Draw! Get a ticket with every schooner purchased from 3PM – 5PM. You must be at the 5PM draw for your chance to pick the Joker. If we don’t have a winner the money will JACKPOT each week with a prize pool of $4000 across the year.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The name of the game is JOKER DRAW
  2. The game starts on Tuesday 27th of February and ends when the joker card is revealed. Subsequent games will start the week following the joker being revealed from the previous game.
  3. Entry into the game is gained by patrons: when they purchase a tap beer on Tuesdays between 3pm & 5pm
  4. Subject to satisfying the entry requirement, a patron will receive a raffle ticket/s in the game. The number of tickets given will be: Middy of tap beer 1 ticket – Schooner of tap beer 2 tickets – Pint of tap beer 3 tickets – Jug of tap beer 4 tickets
  5.  Entries close at 5pm sharp.
  6. The draw will be conducted each Tuesday in session, each semester(Weeks 1-13, excluding public holidays & Mid-Semester breaks) at approx. 5:00pm.
  7. The place where the draw will be undertaken is UniBar, Building 12, University of Wollongong, Kieraville, NSW 2500.
  8. A minimum of 1 entrants will be drawn per draw.
  9. The number of the successful entrant will be audibly and clearly announced so that all patrons who have a ticket in the draw have the opportunity of hearing the announcement. Entrants must present or have nominated someone to choose for them and that person is present at the time of the draw to be eligible to pick a card.
  10. If the successful entrant fails to present themselves to the person who conducted the draw within 3 minutes of the announcement, a further draw will take place and the process continues until successful entrants present themselves.
  11. The successful entrant will have the opportunity to select from 40 playing cards (including 1 Joker card), which are turned face down on a board. The prize is won if the successful entrant selects the joker card. If the joker is not selected the prize jackpots to the following draw. The cards will remain in position for the next draw. The cards will remain in position for the next draw. The Joker and its location are not known to anyone other than the UniBar Licensee and the UniBar Assistant Manager
  12. When a prize is carried over from the previous draw, the draw is to be from the previous draw’s total number of cards with the non-winning cards pinned face up on the game board. The position of the cards on the game board remains set.
  13. When all cards but the joker are revealed, the prize must be won the following week.
  14. The start-up amount for the prize are Eftpos Cards to the Value of $200. If not won, the prize jackpots by $200 worth of Eftpos Cards for the following draw.
  15. All prizes will be paid via Eftpos cards.
  16. The promoter is UniBar, Building 12, University of Wollongong, Northfields Ave Kieraville 2500.
  17. All winners agree to be in any promotional activities related to the draw
  18. Staff and committee members are not permitted to enter Joker Poker.
